Teleradio-Moldova facade mosaic
On the facade of the Teleradio-Moldova building — the national public broadcaster, at str. Miorița 1 in the Telecentru district that grew up around the television centre — stands a monumental work that combines glass smalt mosaic with a stainless-steel relief. The entrance tower carries a large abstract emblem of curved, radiating steel forms, fitting for a television and radio centre, set off by the smalt. It is attributed to Aurel David, one of Chișinău's most prolific monumental artists, and dates to the late 1970s or early 1980s. The mosaic is not listed as a protected monument.
