Alexei Stârcea Art School mosaic
A relief mosaic on the facade of the Alexei Stârcea Art School in Botanica — described as the only mosaic-bas-relief in Chișinău, combining mosaic with a raised relief so that parts of the image project from the wall. Fitting a school of the arts, its composition references musical instruments in flowing lines of yellow, white, red and light blue. It appeared together with the building, completed in the late 1970s (1976–1977). Its authorship is not firmly documented: most sources name Vasile Nașcu, while others suggest Pavel Obuh. The work is listed as a state-protected monument.
