„M. Lomonosov” gymnasium mosaic, Lebedenco
A facade mosaic on the „M. Lomonosov” gymnasium-kindergarten in the village of Lebedenco, Cahul district, dated 1974. The subject of the panel is not stated in the source. The maker is not named; it is recorded only that he came from Odesa (Ukraine). The report describes the work as deteriorated but surviving (not lost). Lebedenco is a commune-seat village in the central part of the Cahul district, north-west of Cahul town; the school bears the name of the Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov. The mosaic belongs to the group of Soviet mosaics of the Cahul district entered in the local Register of Category B public monuments (Cahul district council decision no. 03/07-V of 17 September 2020). No openly-licensed photograph of the panel exists — the only freely-licensed Lebedenco images depict the N. F. Lebedenco memorial house, a different building.
