A 1980 mosaic by Pavel Obuh on the former Palace of Culture of the “Iskozh” (Pielart) artificial-leather combine, at Calea Ieșilor 10 in Buiucani. Executed in ceramic tile and smalt, its title proclaims the Soviet values of peace, science, labour, creativity and art. When the building was rebuilt as a Mazda dealership, the new owners kept the mosaic on its end wall — despite proposals from some staff to glaze it over; it is not listed in the register of protected monuments.
