Peresecina mosaic wall
A mosaic wall running along the M2 highway at the point where Ștefan cel Mare street begins, in the commune of Peresecina, Orhei district. A long, low concrete parapet carries a row of medallions: rosettes and folk geometric ornaments worked in ceramic tesserae and stones, in tones of brown, blue, white and ochre. It is the kind of "village-gateway" decoration that Soviet monumental art set along the verges of major roads. The author and year are undocumented. The coordinates are those of the commune.
