Soviet mosaics on the facade of the „Romanița” crèche-kindergarten in the village of Rădoaia, Sîngerei district (northern Moldova). The panels' existence is attested by the „Mosaics of Moldova” inventory, which credits the community group „Rădoieni de pretutindeni”; their subject, author and year are documented by no independent source. Rădoaia, attested since 1560, is one of the district's larger villages. Mosaic decoration on the facades of children's institutions was common practice in the MSSR — fairy-tale motifs, flowers, a sun, cheerful figures — but without a verifiable image we cannot describe this particular panel. Note: the kindergarten underwent a thermal-rehabilitation programme (exterior-wall insulation, completed in 2021), which usually covers or destroys facade ornament, so the mosaic may by now be hidden or lost.
