An early-1980s smalt mosaic by Filimon Hămuraru on the facade of the “Nikolai Gogol” theoretical lyceum at 90 Alexei Șciusev street, in Centru. The tall vertical panel — worked in orange, red and yellow with green and grey accents — interlaces stylized roses and white scrollwork with numerals and mathematical symbols, which leads many to read it as a “labyrinth of knowledge,” the name under which the city catalogued it.
