Electrification
A 1969 glass-smalt mosaic on the side gable of the „Moldelectrica” State Enterprise building at Vasile Lupu 18, on the corner of Vissarion Belinski Street, in Buiucani. At its centre a frontal female figure — an allegory of electrification — stands beneath a radiant star, set against a dense field of red, cobalt-blue and ochre tesserae studded with ray and angular motifs. The municipality of Chișinău attributes the work to the painter Aurel David (1935–1984); at the end of 2023 it included the panel among the mosaics designated for protection as Category B public-forum monuments and named it one of the eight most remarkable mosaics in the city.
