'May There Always Be Sunshine' mosaic, Glodeni department store
A smalt mosaic on the end wall of the trade complex (department store) in the centre of Glodeni town. Titled "May There Always Be Sunshine" — after the well-known Soviet children's song — it was made in 1972 by Mihail Burea to a design by the architect V. Mednek, on a theme of motherhood and happy childhood. The work is one of the seven monumental mosaics that the "Corpus of Monuments of History and Culture of the MSSR, Northern Zone" (1987) records in the country's north. No free photograph of the panel was found; the gallery stays empty, but the work is documented. The coordinates are those of the town centre.
