A roadside bus shelter with a mosaic in Făgureni, a village administered by the town of Strășeni (about 6 km away and 29 km from Chișinău). First attested in 1448 as Cruglici, the village was called Curluceni until 1986, when it took its present name. Nothing is recorded about the shelter's mosaic: neither author, year, nor subject is documented by any source, and the photographs in the Mosaics of Moldova inventory (photo Alex Buretz, 2021) are not under a free licence. The work belongs to Moldova's series of rural mosaic bus stops — in the Bessarabian villages the railway never reached, the bus stop was the main link to the world, and many were decorated in the 1970s–80s with colourful mosaics by local, usually unidentified craftspeople.
