A mosaic titled „Moldova”, on the wall of residential block no. 37 on Mihai Eminescu Street in Cahul, a town in southern Moldova on the Prut river at the Romanian border and a district seat. Made in the 1970s, the panel — according to the local outlet „Ziua de Azi” — reflects the beauty of the Moldovan land, standing out for the clarity of its contour and silhouette and a vivid, harmonious palette. The author remained unknown — unlike other mosaics in the town, which are attributed to the artist Gheorghii Hadjioglov. The work is part of the body of monumental mosaics made in Cahul in the 1970s–80s and is listed in the local Register of public monuments (category B), by Cahul Town Council Decision no. 03/07-V of 17 September 2020. No openly-licensed photograph of the panel exists, so this description rests on the local documentary source, not on a verified image.
